Nature’s Way Yamadori bonsai stock

During my recent trip to Nature’s Way Bonsai Nursery for a Ryan Neil workshop I made sure to step away and see what kind of bonsai stock was for sale. I have been here before and always expect to see some impressive yamadori. What struck me this time was how many more trees were in the nursery some of which were massive. Here are just a few of the native collected trees I saw there.

  1. Looks like you had better weather than me when I was up there last month!
As was pointed out to me when I showed the same trees from Natures Way on my own blog, that huge one with the hollow base is actually a limber pine(I thought it was a lodgepole) not a mugo pine. There are several limbers as well as lodgepoles and the omnipresent, omni awesome, ponderosas up at Natures Way. These trees are soooo much more than pics show! Get up there people!
